*** The Sim Republic server has experienced a database error since January 2014, and the devs have no interest in fixing things. As a result, the game is totally unplayable. Though existing accounts can be logged into, no game actions can be queued or will be processed. ***
Sim Republic (or SR) is an online simulation game produced by Renegade Games Limited. The games lets you progress through various professions such as farming, mining, politician and so on, and uses an activity based system to do so. Activities can range from building a structure, mining an outcrop, chopping a tree, or travelling to a new plot. These activities are set for a certain number of ticks as they are called in game, and some activities are 1 tick jobs. 1 tick in game is equal to 10 minutes of real time. Each activity takes place in various plots in any of thecountries available in game.
The unique design of Sim Republic creates a massive multiplayer world that blends together games in the areas of city building, farming, business, political, and Sims. As players move out of the starting area they become citizens of the many established countries, or venture out to start their own country. All the countries in game use Real country names, but start out undeveloped. Over time players will work together or compete in each country through various professions. These professions can help them to become a magnificant builder, an established farmer, the leader of the country, or the soldier that leads an army to war. Countries can experience political civil wars, or go to wars against another country if they so choose.
